1. The history of rapid growth of enzyme products
The enzyme product is from a leading domestic enterprise in the field of green active raw materials.Since its establishment in 2017, the company has focused on synthetic biology technology and built a “green bio-manufacturing platform” that integrates R& D and industrialization and has the most complete range of disciplines in China. It is one of the few companies in the industry that has mastered enzyme catalysis, whole-cell synthesis and green chemistry technologies at the same time. It is also one of the earliest companies in China to apply AI to enzyme screening and modification and achieve remarkable results. Since achieving mass production in 2022, the company has been growing rapidly at a rate of nearly doubling every year.
After seven years of rapid development, the company has achieved a leading position among global companies in its category in terms of R&D investment, scale, and output. The company has applied for over 150 invention patents and has launched star products such as S-Pro-Xylane, Green Carnosine, and Smegglutinin , all green active ingredients widely used in functional skincare, nutritional health , and biopharmaceutical fields. In 2021, the enzyme product established a production base in Baiyin, Gansu , achieving a production capacity of ten tons of active ingredients for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. In 2022, construction of a smart factory in Zhuhai was launched and put into operation in the second half of 2023. In 2023, preparations were initiated for a thousand-ton-level industrial base , and in 2024, it was confirmed that the project would be located in the Wengyuan Innovation Raw Material Industrial Park in Shaoguan. The project has a total investment of approximately 1.1 billion yuan, a planned construction area of 70,000 square meters, an annual output of 1,000 tons of green active ingredients, and an annual output value of over 2 billion yuan. After the project is put into operation, it will become the largest biosynthetic GLP-1 raw material and peptide base in China .

Its Deloitte Technology Fast 600 program, founded in Silicon Valley in 1995, is held annually in dozens of countries and regions worldwide and is hailed by the Financial Times as a “benchmark for global high-growth companies.” Past lists have included many industry leaders such as Tencent, Alibaba, JD.com, Baidu, ByteDance, Mindray Medical, SMIC, WuXi AppTec, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Tesla.
The “Deloitte Shenzhen High Technology Fast 20” selection (hereinafter referred to as the “Shenzhen 20”) is a sub-project of Deloitte China’s High Technology Fast 50 series of selections. The list has been held since 2013, consistently recognizing and recognizing local high-tech companies that demonstrate rapid growth, outstanding performance, unique innovation, resilience, and sustainable development through a fair and rigorous selection process. This year’s selection process lasted five months. According to the organizers, the average compound annual growth rate of revenue for the selected High Technology Fast 20 companies over the past three years was 273.93%. These companies will automatically become candidates for the China Top 50 and Asia Pacific Top 500 projects.
