On November 15, 2024, Guangzhou Enzyme Products Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Enzyme Products”) and Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control (hereinafter referred to as “Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control”) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony at the “Innovation and Win-Win Cooperation to Cultivate New Productivity in the Industry” Shenzhen Cosmetic Raw Material Exchange and Matchmaking Conference . Yu Yong, Vice President of Guangzhou Enzyme Products, and Wang Xiaowei, Vice President of Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties. Both parties will collaborate on the research and development of technical standards for the cosmetics industry, promoting the formulation of more scientific, standardized, and forward-looking industry/national standards. This collaboration aims to improve the overall level of the industry, ensure the safety and effectiveness of products used by consumers, regulate market order, and protect consumer rights. Based on relevant domestic and international laws, regulations, and technical requirements, and combined with the actual needs of the industry, both parties will jointly promote the establishment of a scientific, reasonable, and advanced standard and evaluation system for cosmetic raw materials.

To strengthen technological research and innovation capabilities, both parties will share their respective research platforms and technological resources. Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control was established in July 1982. In 2003, the “Shenzhen Medical Device Testing Center” was added.
