On May 31st, the Shenzhen Unicorn Enterprises and Potential Technology Unicorn Enterprises Service Matching Conference was held at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Institute. The conference, themed “Soaring Together, Creating a New Future ,” was guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and hosted by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Institute. At the conference, the organizers officially released the 2022 Shenzhen Potential Technology Unicorn List, with only two synthetic biology companies selected this year, and Enzyme Products being one of them, receiving a related honorary certificate.
1. Regarding potential “tech unicorns”
The Shenzhen Science and Technology Unicorn Enterprise Discovery and Selection Mechanism closely aligns with the development direction of Shenzhen’s “20+8” industrial clusters. Led by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, it aims to select a group of high-growth innovative technology enterprises to be included in the science and technology unicorn enterprise cultivation pool, build a cultivation echelon of “potential science and technology unicorns – high-quality science and technology unicorns”, establish a database containing information on enterprise production and operation, technology research and development, talent introduction, financing and valuation, and provide cultivation services and policy support to the enterprises in the pool in a classified and phased manner according to the needs of the entire life cycle of the enterprise.
